1. Have you ever fallen for the trap of just listening to the Word without doing it? Share the experience and what you learned.

2. God’s Law—his Word—liberates/frees those who hear and obey it. How does it do this?

3. God’s Word leads us into true worship of Him. What three things does James mention as true worship in verses 26-27?

4. Jesus is God’s reflection to the world and for the world, and he came to etch his reflection in us so we could be remade in his likeness. Do you need to hear that good news? Reflect on how this might empower you to respond to the Word with fresh obedience.
