1. Psalm 131 is a psalm about David finding quiet for his noisy soul. Did it help you identify noise in your own soul?

2. What causes the noise in our inner lives? Identify some external causes, as well as what we often do to exacerbate things.

3. David finds quiet for his soul by refusing to play God and instead clinging to God. Identify and reflect on the images David uses in verse 2 to describe his experience with God?

4. Where did Jesus turn when his soul was noisy? Was God faithful to him, and if so, what does that say about God’s trustworthiness in our lives?
